GOAT is a sneaker shopping app where you can purchase rare and otherwise sold out sneakers. Shoes on the site tend to be on the pricier side, but it's worth it to get your hands on a pair of limited edition sold out Off-White sneakers for example. So, how does it work?

Sneakers on GOAT are sold by sneaker lovers, just like you. You can upload sneakers to the site and list them as new, used or new with defects. Depending on the category they get placed into, the price with fluctuate. A seller must upload pictures of the shoes and a description of their condition. From there, buyers can scroll through the site or type a specific shoe into the search box. And I know what you're thinking, what if someone tries to sell fake sneakers as real ones?

One huge benefit to GOAT and why it has skyrocketed in users recently, is their care and attention to sneakers. When you purchase a pair off the site, the seller sends the shoes to GOAT headquarters, not directly to you. GOAT employees then analyze each shoe to ensure that they are real, before shipping them out to the buyer. If they receive a pair of fake shoes, the buyer is fully refunded. From personal experience, this process takes slightly longer (about a week and a half) but is completely worth it when spending a lot of money.
