Sneakers vs Winter

Ah, winter in Syracuse, NY has finally arrived. You know what that means, snow, snow and more snow. Tons of snow. Snow everyday, whipping winds and below freezing temperatures. Why did we choose to come to school here again? Winter can be a horrible season for your fancy, white sneakers. Many think it's a season to throw your kicks in the closet and take out boots. However, this doesn't have to be the case anymore.

Did you know you have the ability to waterproof your shoes? CREP sneaker protect spray allows your shoes to repel water and any other substance that may come its way. It is also extremely easy to use. Simply spray your sneakers (like your using a spray paint can), wait ten minutes and repeat the process. Then, your sneakers will be able to withstand the weather and all that comes their way.

From personal experience, CREP has proven itself worthy. With it, I have no fear about wearing my sneakers in the snow. From sneaker heads to hype beasts, young adults are crazy over copping the newest sneaker drops coming from brands and collaborations such as Nike, Adidas, Air Jordan, Yeezys and Off-White. Our goal for Kicks of Cuse is to better represent this sneaker community on campus. Kicks of Cuse works like this; we will ask our friends and random students on campus to photograph their shoes and provide a short snippet about why they wear the shoes they do.  This will give us insight into the student's life, interests and personality. Taste of shoes can vary drastically, as we want students to get to know one another by the shoes on their feet. Each photo and quote that we take is posted to our Instagram, @KicksOfCuse so our followers can get to know one another by 'walking a day in their shoes'. Although Kicks of Cuse is based out of Syracuse University, we hope to gain more traction, and in the near future spread Kicks of Cuse to different college campuses.
